Nepal is one of the poorest countries in South Asia, the GDP per capita is only US$623. Literacy rate is around 65% stated in 2011 statistics. In the capital city Kathamndu, the situation is improving, however, there are still many children couldn't go to school due to lack of money. The average monthly salary of a labour is only US$100. The concept of family planning is weak in Nepali families, especially in villages, it is normal for them to have 7-10 kids without thinking if they could afford to raise them up healthily. Child abuse and neglect is common here, not only some of the children are hurt physically; their mental trauma can hardly be healed. We don't want to see the situation become worsen and promise to do something for the kids.

Starting "Good Shepherd Children's Home of Nepal" is the first step, we hope to build a real Home of the orphans so that they can grow up in a loving and caring environment. If we could receive more donation, we hope to extend this mission to other parts of Nepal, especially villages, or even to another country.

"Judge the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. (Psalms 82:3)" We need your prayers to support our mission, if you have something in extra, no matter it is a little bit donation, or old clothes or stationeries, you are welcome to deliver us! Thank you for your prayers and love! Let our world become a more peaceful place to live!
